Extending Demo Period on a 42XX Tester

  1. Request the tester's serial number from the customer. It can be found on the tester's Main Menu.

 

         

 

  1. Find the tester in the Portal. At the present time, it has not yet been determined if all demo testers will be managed on a Cirris Demo account or on customers accounts.  Therefore, it may be easiest to find the tester using the Advanced Search function accessible on the Customer License Management page.

 

         

 

  1. Enter the tester serial number as the Machine ID and click Search.

 

         

 

  1. After the Advanced Search finds and displays the tester, click the Edit License File icon.

 

         

 

  1. On the Edit License File page, the target machine will be highlighted at the top of the machine list. Click License Options

 

         

 

  1. In the File Options dialog, select Add/Extend Demo.

 

         

 

  1. In the Add/Extend Demo dialog, enter the Days to Add and click Save.

 

         

 

  1. Back on the Edit License File page, Save and Download Cirris License File using the Choose Machine to Download option to select the target tester.

 

         

               

  1. Send the License File to the customer. The customer can save the License File to the Cirris Hub or to a USB flash drive. From either location it can be downloaded to the tester from the tester's Main Menu > System Settings > Activate Options > Import Option File.
